Founded by Dr. Spitali from Puerto Plata, this facility has state of the art equipment - with the ability to do x-rays, mammograms, sonograms and CAT-scans.
They have a 24 hour Accident and Emergency department, as well as on call general practitioners, gynecologists, pediatriciians, urologists, orthopedis surgeons, and neurosurgeons. They have their own ambulances, as well as an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) and NICU (Neonatal ICU).
Dr. Spitali heads up a regular staff of thirty (30), they accept foreign medical insurance, and will soon be ready to accept local Dominican insurance companies as well. Even without insurance the rates are very low compared to North America and Western Europe. The quality of care is excellent and many have already given high praise to the people operating this clinic. Many medical tests can now be done right at this clinic, without the need to travel to Puerto Plata or Santiago.

One hour and 20 minutes away, the Hospital Metropolitan of Santiago (HOMS) is the largest hospital in the Dominican Republic and one of the most modern hospitals in Latin America and the Caribbean, with 300 doctors offices, 400 beds, 16 operating rooms, a hotel and other specialized units.
